Geothermal Technology
An exciting opportunity for Homeowners, Home Builders, and Commercial Customers.
J S Mortimer, Inc has completed geothermal installations for Residential and Commercial facilities, and continues to be at the forefront of the "Green Energy" movement in New England.
Homeowners, Home Builders, and Facility Managers are all taking advantage of the new tax credits to reduce their energy costs and strive for a "Greener" future.
Mortimer's in house design Professionals are LEED accredited and trained in the design of geothermal systems. Our field technicians are trained in the proper installation of these systems.
Geothermal is the simplest measure that a Facility manager can take to secure Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
This technology takes advantage of the constant temperatures within the earth to provide heating and cooling for indoor environments at extremely high efficiencies.
Geothermal energy is sustainable and renewable as opposed to most other current fuels.
Residential customers that install geothermal systems can now experience the same benefits that commercial facilities do, including federal, state, and local tax incentives, lower energy costs and less of an impact on our environment.
Tax Incentives - The federal government offers homeowners and/or builders tax credits of 30% with no limit on qualifying geothermal systems that meet or exceed required energy efficiency standards. Massachusetts also supports energy efficient and alternative systems by offering tax incentives.
